  1. Open a new browser tab, then right click anywhere inside the new tab & hit "Inspect" to open developer tools
  2. Go to target.com in the new tab and browse through the site's data you want to collect (with developer tools open)
  3. Select the "Network" tab under developer tools & click the ⬇️ labeled "Export HAR..."
Upload your HAR file here and we will group together useful data within your HAR file FOR FREE. Users on any paid plan can download this data as combined, fully-paginated CSV & JSON files. 🔒 HAR Files Have Sensitive Data We only process the HAR file in your browser (nothing is sent over the internet) until you click the "Parse" button.

🚫 Clear the Junk Hit "Clear" in the Network tab just before browsing through your data for best results & for exporting multiple parts.

💡 Pro Tip Just drag and drop your HAR file here for easier use!

If you’re interested in e-commerce data, specifically from Target, you have 2 options that we support for scraping their public data.

You can use the HAR File Web Scraper shown on this page to extract out product data from search results performed on Target’s website.

To get started, run a search for products on Target and apply any relevant filters you may want (e.g. price, store, colors, etc…) and then when happy with the results, right click on the page and hit “Inspect” to open up developer tools and begin recording your web traffic. Refresh the page to reload the initial data from Target now that you’re recording.

Now scroll through the product search results and hit next to load more and more pages of products as you record this data from Target.

2. Export & Download

Once you’ve browsed through enough products, go to the “Network” tab in developer tools and click the down arrow labeled “Export HAR…” to download a HAR file containing the raw JSON data from Target. Upload that file to the HAR File Web Scraper and look for the products in the parse. You’ll then be able to extract out product data into CSV files you can quickly download and use with spreadsheet programs like Excel.

Automated 3rd Party API Scraping

If you need automated scraping support, you’ll want to check out our integration for Scraping RedCircle Target Product Data API. RedCircle is a third party service that maintains a database of products, pricing, inventory, photos, descriptions and more from Target’s public website, exposing this useful data via API. Our service will help you query this API and extract out the data into downloadable CSV files.
