TikTok Video Post Details Scraping
Scrape TikTok video details, including play counts, heart counts, URLs to image, video and sound assets, and the description text of the post from the Official TikAPI Video Details Endpoint.
You’ll need to have access to TikAPI (free 5 day trial, then $29/mo.), which is a separate fee paid to TikAPI. You can use our service for free to get a feel for how we work with TikAPI, but you’ll likely need a paid TikAPI account to perform any substantial scraping.
Get the Video ID
You’ll need to provide the TikTok Video ID, which is a very long number you can find from the TikTok website by clicking on the post and then checking the URL in your browser (look for the very long number in the URL bar).
Search Results
You can also get Video IDs from other endpoints with TikAPI - they will typically be under the data.id field in the response. If you want to look up a long list of these IDs (say scrape all of the TikTok videos from a single user), you can import the TikTok Video Details - Multiple Videos Workflow to enter a bulk list of Video IDs from TikTok and look up their details in bulk. You’ll get back a single CSV file containing all of the fields mentioned above, e.g. video & image content links, engagement stats, creation time, caption & more.
