TikTok Video Search Results Scraping
Scrape TikTok search results using the TikAPI Search Endpoint (separate service that requires a paid subscription). Using our integration, we will query the TikAPI endpoint here on your behalf, and then parse out the response into easily downloadable CSV files you can then open in Excel or upload to your tool of choice for analysis and research.
You’ll need to have access to TikAPI (free 5 day trial, then $29/mo.), which is a separate fee paid to TikAPI. You can use our service for free to get a feel for how we work with TikAPI, but you’ll likely need a paid TikAPI account to perform any substantial scraping.
Running a Search
The endpoint accepts a search keyword and should function just how the normal TikTok search feature works. The default response type is set to “general,” which will return videos matching your search query. You can also change the response type to “videos,” however this may not make a huge difference.
You can also change the response type to users (to find influencers you may want to work with), but TikAPI doesn’t support pagination for this search mode. You can however see other TikAPI endpoints we support for finding influencers that do support pagination.
Bulk Scraping Searches
If you have a list of TikTok search terms and want to extract the search results into a CSV file, you can use the TikTok Search - Pagination Workflow, where you can paste in a list of search terms you want to track and the workflow will execute the queries individually and then combine the results together for you into a single, downloadable file.
