Download Google Maps Search Results via SERP API
SERP API isn’t just for Google search results, but can also work with other Google services like Google Maps. Simply check out the Serp API Google Maps Documentation for more information. You’ll see instructions on how to perform a search for business listings by coordinates and search terms, as this scraping page will help you do.
Using this page, our service will query SerpAPI on your behalf (using your own SerpAPI key) and parse out the results into downloadable CSV files instantly, allowing you to quickly analyze your search results in Excel for quick and easy analysis.
While you’re free to search with any keyword (just like how you search by keyword on your phone or the Google Maps website), you need to be a little more diligent with the latitude and longitude parameter. You need to provide the coordinates in a very specific format, as the example value on this page indicates. The first 2 values are the coordinates, followed by a zoom level. You can increase the zoom level if you feel like your search is overly broad and you want to be sure you get the complete result set back. This may be relevant for running broad searches in large cities, e.g. where there may be a few thousand results… if you just zoom to include the entire city, Google will not return all the results but instead cut it off after a certain amount.
