Legally scrape data from your own Nextdoor account, including the marketplace with items for sale, newsfeed, local events, and so on. You will NOT be able to scrape data that you’re not allowed to see while logged in to Nextdoor. So please don’t try to use this if you’re trying to scrape data from other neighborhoods and locations that you don’t have a Nextdoor account or access to.

To get started, simply reference the HAR File Web Scraper on this page and begin recording your web traffic. Then head over to Nextdoor in your web browser and log in if you need to. Then navigate to the section of Nextdoor you want to scrape, e.g. the news feed. Scroll down through all the posts while you’re recording your web traffic with developer tools open in your browser (you can also see the video on this page for a more step-by-step demo). Once finished, export the HAR file from the “Network” tab. This file will contain all the raw JSON that Nextdoor sent to your browser, containing structured data of what you’re looking to scrape.

Upload the HAR file here and our service will parse out the file into downloadable CSV files you can immediately import into Excel for quick data analysis or upload to any other data analytics tool of your choice to get a better understanding of what’s going on in your neighborhood.

⚖️ Disclaimer: This application is meant to be accessed with the HAR File Web Scraper only. You may not directly access nextdoor.com using Stevesie or any other automated scraping platform. Learn more here: Is Data Scraping Legal?
