Download Hotel Search Results Data
Scrape Hotel Tonight legally (without violating its Terms of Service) using HAR files, which allow you to record your web traffic with Hotel Tonight and then extract the data out from the recording instead of the actual website, as to not violate their Terms of Service.
1. Browse Hotel Tonight
Head to the Hotel Tonight Search Feature and jump to any city you want to scrape the hotels for. Now right click on the page and hit “Inspect” to begin recording your web traffic. Refresh the webpage to force Hotel Tonight to reload its data to your browser now that you’re recording and browse around the map or paginate through the results to capture as many hotels as possible that you want to scrape the data for.
2. Export & Download Data
Once you’ve browsed through enough hotels, go to the “Network” tab in developer tools and click the down arrow labeled “Export HAR…” to download a HAR file containing all of the raw data that Hotel Tonight sent to your browser. Upload that file to the HAR File Web Scraper and we’ll parse out the data into downloadable CSV files you can begin analyzing in Excel or any other spreadsheet program.
